p300i promotes anti-tumor immunity in vivo (TC1)

Tumor Immunology

Our lab undertakes clinical and experimental oncology projects. The clinical work, headed by Dr. Tatiana Akimova, is undertaken in collaboration with Drs. Steve Albelda, Evgeniy Eruslanov and Sunil Singhal, and focuses on characterizing the features and functions of FOXP3+ Treg cells isolated from freshly resected human lung cancers. The murine work, headed by Dr. Liqing Wang, involves studies of the effects of targeting Foxp3+ Treg cells in murine lung cancer models in syngeneic mice.  The intent of our tumor studies is to understand how Tregs regulate host anti-tumor immunity, and ultimately how such actions can be modulated to therapeutic effect.
