I grew up in the peaceful city of Iowa City, Iowa. While completing my B.S. In Biology at the University of Notre Dame, I was fortunate to work in Dr. Francis Castellino investigating NMDA receptor both on the biomolecular level and its effect on stroke in a mice model. I joined the Hancock lab in the beginning of 2017, and since then, I have been constantly learning about immunology research both technically and scientifically. In the future, I plan to pursue a career in the medical field and continue to do research. When not in the lab, I am a avid tennis player and quite the cinephile.
